DESCRIPTION: Maintenance dredging of approximately 100,000 cubic yards of shoaled sand and silt from the Duwamish River Channel at Seattle Harbor, WA, with disposal at the Washington State Department of Natural Resources' open-water disposal site in Elliott Bay by bottom-dump barge. An estimated 40,000 cubic yards of sand from the upper turning basin may be used for approved beneficial use at Eagle Harbor, WA, with disposal by wash off from deck barges. All work shall be completed in accordance with the plans and specifications package. This solicitation will be issued as an Electronic Bid Set (EBS) on CD-Rom format only. Disks will be available on or about 10 Oct 2000 at no charge per set, issued on a first come, first served basis. No phone requests accepted.
