This project consists of furnishing materials for and the construction of a vehicle parking lot and minor associated landscaping at the Cordova District Office in Cordova, Alaska. Work includes construction of approximately 42 meters of 1.5-meter high monolithic concrete retaining wall, construction of approximately 32 square meters of concrete block retaining wall with a maximum height of 1.25 meters, construction of approximately 55 square meters of concrete sidewalk, construction of approximately 73 meters of concrete curb, construction of approximately 23 meters of concrete curb and gutter, and placement of approximately 133 cubic meters of crushed aggregate base course material. Work also includes construction of a grated trench drain and installation of approximately 13 meters of 300-mm corrugated metal pipe, installation of two light poles, placing topsoil and seed on all disturbed areas, and planting twelve mountain ash trees. Work also includes, on an additive basis, placement of approximately750 square meters of 50-mm thick asphalt pavement, and painting of approximately 121 meters of traffic markings. The additive items may be exercised unilaterally by the government at any time during the course of the contract. The project is located in Cordova, Alaska. Cordova is accessible only by air or sea. The estimated start work date is 092500. The contract time will be 45 calendar days. Estimated price range for the project is between $100,000 and $250,000.
