THIS IS A HUBZONE SET-ASIDE FOR ALL SMALL BUSINESS HUBZONE CERTIFIED CONTRACTORS WHICH ARE REGISTERED WITH THE ARIZONA DISTRICT OFFICE OF THE SMALL BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION WHICH IS LOCATED IN PHOENIX, ARIZONA. The SIC Code is 1623 and the Small Business Size Standard is $17 million. The estimated range of this project is between $500,000.00 and $2,000,000.00. The successful contractor is to furnish all plant, labor, equipment, materials and supervision required to replace the existing sewer in Miles Manor at Fort Huachuca, AZ. The construction will consist of installing high density polyethylene sewer pipe, the demolition of existing manholes and the construction of new manholes. Included are all necessary manhole, yard, sidewalk, curb, gutter, asphalt and any other repairs that are incidental to the work. Miles Manor(1-4) consists of four areas which include a total of 150 buildings/duplexes(300 housing units) which were built in 1958. Approximately half of the work will be Subject to the Availabilityof Funds(SAF)which means that it may or may not be awarded. Any contractor interested in submitting a bid will have to attend the mandatory site visit and provide past performance information regarding similar work that they have performed in the last 3 years. At this time we are still uncertain as to whether or not the solicitation will be electronic via e-mail or WEB page.
