The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Coastal Systems Station, Dahlgren Division, NSWC, Panama City, Florida, intends to issue a sole source solicitation to ADI Limited, PO Box E 349, Kingston ACT 2604, Australia. This acquisition is for six mini-dyads and the hardware, parts, and software to support ten mini-dyads (the Navy currently owns four mini-dyads purchased for Foreign Comparative Testing (FCT)). They are being acquired at the direction of PEO MUW for use in an expanded FCT type evaluation within the active Fleet. Mini-dyads are steel tubes containing ferrite permanent magnets. The magnets are specially designed and oriented for magnetic minesweeping. ADI Limited is the only source for dyads. There is no competing technology at this time. Accordingly, these mini-dyads must be acquired from ADI. All items acquired under this contract will initially be delivered to the Coastal Systems Station, 6703 W Hwy 98, Panama City, FL 32407-7001.
