This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number N00164-00-Q-0290 is hereby issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). In accordance with FAR 19.502-2(a), the Contracting Officer has dissolved the small business set-aside. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-18 and DCN 20000627. The Standard Industrial Classification Code for this procurement is 3669 and the size standard is 750 employees. This requirement is for the following: CLIN 0001 4 each Multicoupler, M/A-Com Sigint Model Number 414-03; CLIN 0002 2 each Multicoupler, M/A Com Sigint Model Number 410-02. This requirement is issued on a sole sourced basis to M/A-Com Sigint, Hunt Valley, MD. The data packages are proprietary to M/A Com. The multicouplers must meet form, fit and function in the RFD for the Special Projects Program. Delivery is required F.o.B. Destination within 150 days after award. Final inspection will be at NSWC Crane, IN. This will be a firm fixed price contract and will be awarded utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The contractor shall extend to the Government the full coverage of commercial sale warranty provided such warranty is available at no additional cost to the Government.
