This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number N00164-00-Q-0291 is hereby issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). In accordance with FAR 19.502-2(a), the Contracting Officer has dissolved the small business set-aside. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-18 and DCN 20000627. The Standard Industrial Classification Code for this procurement is 3825 and the size standard is 500 employees. This requirement is for the following: CLIN 0001 2 each Generator, IFR Systems' Model Number 2031; CLIN 0002 2 each Electrical Attenuator, IFR Systems' Model Number Option 12. This requirement is sole sourced to IFR Systems, 10200 West York Street, Wichita, KS. These items must meet form, fit and function for the Special Projects Program. The data package is proprietary to IFR Systems. Delivery is required F.o.B. Destination within 21 days after award. Final inspection will be at NSWC Crane, IN. This will be a firm fixed price contract and will be awarded utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The contractor shall extend to the Government the full coverage of commercial sale warranty provided such warranty is available at no additional cost to the Government.
