This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). ALL OF THE FOLLOWING ITEMS AS LISTED ARE MANUFACTURED BY ROPER SCIENTIFIC MASD: The following 6 items are hereby needed: One(1) each of a CCD Camera, 12-Bit, 2K X 2K Digital LVDS output CCD Camera, F-Mount, with 110/220 VAC Universal power supply and cord, RS-232 control, and Q10 10 Ft. digital RS-232, 68-68/9 pin connectors for single bus acquisitions w/ EPIX board Part # 8754483,F,M,Q10. One (1) each of an I/O Camera, EPIX PXCI-D24-ES4.0-12B15F PIXCI D24, PCI Bus interface for Roper ES4.0, 12 bits, 15 FPS, two board set. One (1) each of EPIX XCAP V.2.0 Full interactive image processing and board control software. One (1) each of EPIX Twain software allowing grabs into any Twain compliant software package via the PIXCI board(s). One (1) each EPIX CBL-D24-ES4-.0-12B15F-3M data cables for Roper ES4.0, 12 Bits, 15 FPS, two board set, 3 Meter. One (1) each Roper Scientific LEMO connector w/12FT. leads for user-supplied power. The provisions and clauses in the RFQ are those in effect through FAC 97-16. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. See Note 1. The SIC code and the small business size standard for this procurement are 3663 and 500 employees, respectively. The quoter shall state in their quotation their size status for this procurement. All qualified responsible business sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Delivery to The NASA Glenn Research Center is required within 21 days ARO. Delivery shall be FOB Destination. The DPAS rating for this procurement is DO-C9. Quotations for the items(s) described above are due by 08-15-2000 4:30 P.M., and may be mailed or faxed to Dennis D. Pehotsky at the NASA Glenn Research Center, 21000 Brookpark Rd., MS 500-319, Cleveland, OH 44135; FAX # (216)-433-2480, and include, solicitation number, FOB destination to this Center, proposed delivery schedule, discount/payment terms, warranty duration (if applicable), taxpayer identification number (TIN), identification of any special commercial terms, and be signed by an authorized company representative.
