synopsis/solicitation for the following commercial item: Target,
Automotive, Moving. Solicitation is prepared in acordance with the
format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information
included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only
solicitation, proposals are being requested and a written solicitation
will not be issued. The solicitation number is M00681-00-T-522 and is
issued as a Request for Quotation. This solicitation document and
incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal
Acquisition Circular 97-15. This is a small business set aside. The
Stabdard Industrial Code is 3949 and the employee size is 500 employees
. This requirement is for a fixed price. The following commercial items
consists of the following: Standard Features: All steel construction,
track is 3/8" thick 4" X 4" angle. Motor 180VDC with controller.
Stainless steel sheaves and galvanized pulleys, 1/8" galvanized trolley
cable. Self adjusting hydraulic shockabsorbers, 3,000,000 inch lbs per
hour. Motor: permanent magnet dc motor has matched speed controller
control. Eight foot, 3 conductor cordset for plugging into standard ac
receptacle. Controller supplies DC power to motor through an
additional eight foot three conductor. Cordset between motor and
controller, external access to motor brushes. Input voltage: 220VAC,
60/50 HZ; bearings: prelubricated ball; mounting c face with removable
rigid base; enclosure motor; TEFC, control NEMA 4/12; ambient 40
degrees C; service factor 1.0; insulation class F; duty -- continuous;
rotation CW/CCW; track: construction AR 500 12" X 14" base plate with
2" X 2" A-53 12" upright supporting two 3/8" X 4" X4" A-36 angles;
length not to exceed 100 feet. Height 25" from bottom of base to top of
motor covering. Trolley construction: 5/16 A-36 mild steel plate with
20 neoprene seal bearing wheels, dimensions 18" X 17" X 11". Delivery
to Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, AZ. Delivery date is 8 weeks ARO. The
