This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is DABT65-00-T-0005 which is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-14. The SIC for this action is 7372 with a size standard of $18.0 mil. CLIN 0001: 6 ea MetaVR MUSE VRSG System preloaded with MUSE GOTS terrain databases, to include software maintenance and technical support. The provisions at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Evaluation of bids will be based on best price for the equipment and software listed above. Contractor must be able to provide and maintain the MUSE GOTS terrain database software license.
