The SPAWAR Systems Center Charleston intends to award a $2.5 million Research and Development (R&D) sole-source cost type contract to Informed Diagnostics in support of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency's (DARPA) BWD program. Informed Diagnostics will develop new capabilities (cavity ringdown spectroscopy) utilizing their proprietary technology. Informed Diagnostics is the only source capable of performing this work because of the expertise in this field. This action is a result of an unsolicited proposal.
