The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), St. Inigoes, MD intends to contract for a base year and four option years with Microwave Instrumentation Technologies, LLC (MIT), 4500 River Green Parkway, Suite 200, Duluth, Georgia 30096-2580. This requirement is for calibration and maintenance of AN/SRQ-4 Automated Indoor Compact Antenna Range Test Set and Data, which consists of an anechoic chamber, a positioning system, interconnecting cabling, and a MIT Model 2083 antenna analyzer system. The electronic test equipment required for testing and calibration is proprietary to MIT and is not available from any other source. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Interested parties may identify their interest and technical capability to respond to this requirement and may submit information which shall be considered by the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Contracts. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
