The U.S. Army Soldier and Biological Command, Soldier Systems Center (SBCCOM-SSC) has a requirement for the procurement of a follow-on Lightweight Maintenance Enclosure (LME). The LME shall be capable to interface with the Army's current Environmental Control Units (ECU's) and standard camouflage screening system, as well as existing LMEs already in the Army inventory. The production contract will also provide the Spare and Repair Parts necessary to support and maintain the initial fielding of LMEs. The Government anticipates that this acquisition will result in the award of a Firm-Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, consisting of a three (3) year base ordering period and two (2) optional ordering periods (three-year options) to supply LMEs to meet the remainder of the Army and Marine Corps fielding requirements. This production contract will provide for an estimated maximum quantity of 10,000 and an estimated minimum quantity of 2,000 LMEs over the life of the contract. This acquisition is a 100 percent HUBZone small business set-aside and will be conducted as a best value procurement. The applicable Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 2394.
