THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE COMBINED Synopsis/RFO FOR ENVIRONMENTAL CHAMBER SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION CONTAINED IN THIS NOTICE. Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their offer. This notice serves as the official amendment to the subject solicitation and a written amendment will not be issued. The purpose of this amendment is to revise the quantities required and clarify Item 3 requirements for the second unit. a) Items 1, 2 and 3 require a quantity of two (2) each. b) Item 3 Installation, Checkout and Training for the second unit is to occur within 365 days after delivery. (The location for this second unit is currently under construction and is anticipated to be ready within the next year). The first unit will still undergo installation, checkout and training within 30 days of delivery. The due date for receipt of offers is not extended. Offers shall provide the information stated in the synopsis/RFO posted on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service (NAIS) on August 10, 2000. Documents related to this solicitation will be available over the Internet.
