This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). ITEM 1: QUICK THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY METER (QTM-500) WITH BOX TYPE PROBE (PD-11) AND PRINTER (DP-500). SUPPLIER IS LAB DATA PLUS, INC. MANUFACTURER IS KYOTO ELECTRONICS. HOT WIRE MEASUREMENT METHOD WITH .023 TO 12 W/MK MEASURING RANGE. MEASUREMENT TEMP RANGE OF MINUS 10 TO 200 CELSIUS. EXTERNAL OUTPUT OF 2 CHANNELS OF RS232 VARIETY. INCLUDED OR SUPPLIED PARTS ARE PD-11 BOX PROBE, PROBE CONSTANT CARD, POWER CORD, AC3-PIN ADAPTER, GROUND WIRE, POWER FUSE, REFERENCE PLATE (R1-2 CLEAR QUARTZ IN BOX, R2-2 SILICONE RUBBER IN BOX, R3-2 POLYETHYLENE FORM IN BOX), COOLING PLATE (ALUMINUM), BRUSH, OPERATING MANUAL. PART: QTM-500 OR EQUIVALENT, QUANTITY: 1 EACH. ITEM 2: THERMAL PRINTER WITH CABLE, ITEM # DP-500 {OR EQUIVALENT.} QUANTITY: 1 EACH. The provisions and clauses in the RFQ are those in effect through FAC 97-19. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. See Note 1. The SIC code and the small business size standard for this procurement are 3825 and 500, respectively. The quoter shall state in their quotation their size status for this procurement. All qualified responsible business sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Delivery to MSFC is required within 90 days ARO. Delivery shall be FOB Destination. The DPAS rating for this procurement is DO-C9. Quotations for the items(s) described above are due by close of business August 30, 2000, and may be mailed or faxed the identified point of contact, and include, solicitation number, FOB destination to this Center, proposed delivery schedule, discount/payment terms, warranty duration (if applicable), taxpayer identification number (TIN), identification of any special commercial terms, and be signed by an authorized company representative.
