70 -- UPGRADE OF 475GB ON STK SVA DASD MODEL 9393-6V4 SOL DMCUMY00MP00106AA DUE 081600 POC Virginia McCann, Contract Specialist, (618) 229 9720 The Defense Contracting Office (DITCO), Computer Technology Division, Estern and Western Area Commands Branch (DTS41), Scott AFB IL intends to issue a sole source contract to Storage Technology Corporation, 12200 Tech Road, Silver Springs MD 20904-1983 for the Defense Enterprise Computing Center Ogden located at Hill AFB UT to provide all necessary components, shipping, installation and code for an upgrade of 475GB effective storage capacity on STK SVA DASD Model 9393-6V4, SN 0003027. Current effective storage is 845GB and the new total will be 1320GB effective storage. This purchase is anticipated for 20 August 2000. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304 (c)(1), Only One Responsible Source and no other supplies or services will satisfy Agency requirements.
