J -- MAINTENANCE OF SMV VISION FX80 NUCLEAR CAMERA & SMV VISION POWER STATION SOL 516-003-01 DUE 091200 POC Luz Cuff, (727) 398-9337 The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Bay Pines, Florida intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with SMV America, Twinsburg, Ohio for the maintenance of SMV Vision FX80 nuclear camera and SMV Vision Power Station computer. Work must be accomplished by SMV America in order not to void equipment warranty. All responses from responsible sources will be considered. Responses must include sufficient information to allow this office to evaluate the possibility of your firm to avoid nullification of existing warranty and submit a valid proposal. The determination to open competition based on responses recieved is solely within the discretion of the government. If a solicitation is issued, no additional synopsis will be published. Contract will be awarded for a period of one year with the government having the option to extend the contract for four (4) additional one year periods. Solicitation will be prepared as a commercial item procurement in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12.
