Dawson, SEA 02423D, (703) 602-0200, ext. 414 The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to extend Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00024-97-G-4198 with Litton Marine Systems, 1070 Seminole Trail, Charlottesville, VA 22901, for one year. The purpose of this BOA is to perform the following functions: a. Receive, open, inspect, repair, alteration and maintenance of Government -- owned, Litton Marine Systems (formerly known as Sperry Marine) -- Manufactured, Integrated Navigation Systems, Automated Bridge Network and Command and Control System Equipment, b. Perform Preplanned Product Improvement (P3I) for Integrated Navigation Systems, Automated Bridge Network and Command and Control System Equipment, c. Provide replacement spares and components for Integrated Navigation Systems, Automated Bridge Network and Command and Control System Equipment. Orders will be issued pursuant to 10 U. S. C. 2304 (c) (1). Litton Marine Systems, is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the Integrated Navigation Systems, Automated Bridge Network and Command and Control System Equipment and as such is the only company qualified to perform the above functions on its Navigation Systems and Ancillary Equipment. No other source has the technical qualifications and the necessary resources to perform the work described herein, nor will any other supplies or services satisfy the Navy's requirements.
