Smithsonian Institution is seeking proposals to furnish museum exhibition design and architectual-engineering services for the "Behring Family Hall of Mammals" exhibition to be located at the National Museum of Natural History in Washington, D.C. The exhibition area is approximately 25,000 square feet. The selected designer will perform all exhibition design services to complete the conceptual design phase including preparation of a preliminary cost estimate of each gallery for construction, mock-ups, testing and fabrication. The designer will also be required to provide architectural-engineering design services related to the design work effort. All firms interested in submitting a proposal in response to this solicitation need copies of the Request For Proposals (RFP) documents and they are available upon request from Smithsonian Institution, Office of Contracting, 955 L'Enfant Plaza, SW, Suite P-114, Washington, DC 20024 (Attn: 36).
