REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS (RFQ) FOR CONSTRUCTION MANAGER AT RISK UNDER GUARANTEED MAXIMUM PRICE AGREEMENT PROJECT NAME: Construction Manager At-Risk, South Terminal Program PROJECT NOS: A155S, B311A, B311B, B312A, B313A, B315A, A155A, B315B Miami Dade County through the Miami Dade Aviation Department (MDAD) is requesting proposals from qualified Construction Managers (CM) with a General Contractor's license to provide pre-construction and construction phase services under a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) Contract. These services are to be provided for the South Terminal Program. IN GENERAL THE WORK COMPRISES: The South Terminal Program is an expansion to the present terminal and consists of eight major projects: The MIA South Terminal Expansion, MIA Terminal South/Terminal Improvements, Concourse J, H-J Utility and Pavement Project, Concourse H Modifications for International Gates, Concourse H International Headhouse Demolition and Construction, and MIA H Terminal Improvements and H-J Sewer and Related Work. Tenant relocation is also an integral part of the Program. Pre-construction services include constructability reviews, maintenance of traffic, value engineering, development, scope, packaging of individual work packages, estimating and budgeting. PROJECT BRIEFING: A pre-submittal conference and Site Inspection will be held on September 11, at 2:00 pm in the DBE Conference Room at Building 5A located at 4200 NW 36th St. Suite 200, Miami, FL of the Miami-Dade Aviation Department, for all interested parties. Attendance is recommended but not mandatory. All interested parties for the Site Inspection must notify the contact person specified in the RFQ by letter, as airport security identification must be worn. Attendance will be limited to two (2) representatives per firm.
