This solicitation will be issued as a performance contract, best value basis with technical and price proposals required. Technical proposals will be evaluated on the factors listed in the solicitation and will include past performance in similar work, performance narrative and project schedule. The work includes all labor, materials, supplies, equipment, transportation and supervision to remove the existing concrete driveway, broken and damage curbs, damage sidewalks and gate post. Replace with new driveway, curbs, sidewalks, new gate post/gate and relocation of old gate. The work also includes the repair of a leaking underground water pipe. Contractor shall provide coordination, research to determine ownership of the pipe, type utility that the water line services. Contractor will coordinate with the City of Detroit to make necessary repairs complete and ready to use. This solicitation will include option line items for the following: 1. Removal of gravel and/or soil and install asphalt in the parking areas and extended parking lot. Award of options will be determined on funds availability. This proposed contract is Unrestricted. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) is 1771 Concrete Work and Size Standard for Small Business is $11.5 Mil. Cost Range is under $100,000.00. Approximate release date is August 14, 2000.
