Dulski Federal Building in Buffalo, New York. The successful contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, materials and supervision. The proposed construction includes demolition, architectural and minor electrical elements. The existing four (4) pairs of balanced swinging and one (1) revolving door will be replaced with four (4) pairs of swinging doors and one (1) revolving door. There will also be minor patching of the terrazzo floor, new aluminum floor mats, and painting of the walls and ceiling in the vestibule area. Power will be supplied to some of the doors for lights and automatic opening devices. The existing security system devices will be reinstalled within the scope of this project. This procurement is 100% set aside for certified HUBZone small business concerns pursuant to FAR subpart 19.13. The magnitude of this construction project is estimated between $25,000 and $100,000. The standard industrial classification (SIC) code is 1542 and the size standard is $27.5 million. Alternate payment protection in the form of a payment bond or irrevocable letter of credit will be required following award. The tentative solicitation issuance date is August 31, 2000.
