The construction work to be done is to resurface Alaganik Slough Road with crushed aggregate surfacing rock. The location of the surface replacement on Alaganik Slough Road will be from kilometer 0.0 to 1.8. The surface replacement will be on the traveled way and passing lanes. The road will be resurfaced with crushed aggregate at a depth of 0.15 meter and width of 5 meters, including surfacing sideslope, 1.8 kilometers from the Copper River Highway. The existing road surface shall be scarified 0.15 m deep then bladed smooth before placing the new crushed aggregate surface. No government material source is identified. Contractor is responsible for furnishing all materials and equipment to resurface the road. Construction debris and material not used in constructing a feature is the responsibility of the contractor to dispose of off the National Forest. All equipment shall work from the existing road surface. The project is located near Cordova, Alaska approximately 17 miles east of Cordova near milepost 17 of Copper River Highway. The estimated start work date is 092500. The contract time will be 60 calendar days. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000.
