This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Solicitation Number is M9332800SS6910V and this is a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 97-16 AND DAC 91-13. This is a 100% small business set aside under simplified acquisition procedures; the standard industrial code is 5211 and the small business size standard is $5.0 Mil. The following item(s) are intended to be purchased for the Government on a firm fixed price contract for procurement and installation of twelve (12) Roll-up Doors with hand chain operation, model number 2500, mfg: DBCI or equal. Doors include: 3" x 3" Tube Steel Door Jambs and Painting. Doors are to be installed at bldg 22150 aboard Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton, California; to begin installation no later than 6 September 00. Prior to submitting an offer, offerors are required to contact Mitch Maynard, (760) 725-4779/3932 to schedule an on-site survey, no later than 23 Aug 00. All responsible sources may submit an offer along with DUNS Number and FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items (FEB 2000). The Government will evaluate the installation date and price.
