This acquisition is being set aside for small businesses subject to Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code 5251 with a size standard of $5 Million. The 90th Contracting Squadron at F. E. Warren AFB, WY., has a requirement for a Contractor Operated Civil Engineer Store (COCESS). This contract will furnish Civil Engineer shops with miscellaneous hardware, plumbing, heating, electrical and carpentry supplies. The store will be located at F. E. Warren AFB and it shall be operated during normal duty days observed by the Civil Engineering Squadron, 7:30 a.m. -- 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, holidays excepted. The contractor shall provide a store manager who shall be responsible for the performance of work. The store manager shall have experience in procuring the types of materials required under this contract, cross referencing, and buying commercial building trade supply items. The contractor will ensure that sufficient personnel are available at all times during store hours, whether normal oremergency operation, to provide uninterrupted services. The rules and directives of F. E. Warren AFB where services are performed shall apply to the contractor and his employees while on the premises of such installation. The contractor shall be in place and open for business on the contract start date 2 Jan 00. The contract period will be for a base year and two (one year) option periods. Issue date for this solicitation is anticipated to be on or about 15 Sep 00 with closing date 30 calendar days after issuance. This solicitation is a Request for Proposal_Performance Price Trade-Off (PPT). Under PPT, past performance will be evaluated.
