The General Services Administration intends to issue a contract to Reliable Computer Company under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 through solicitation number 6TSA-00-JMT-0126. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 90-42. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A justification for Other than Full and Open Competition has been prepared in support of this acquisition. This procurement is to purchase three "mini-mainframe" servers to be used for the DREAMS System, operating system software & maintenance. Reliable will assemble, configure and test the systems to make sure they are compatible with existing equipment. Maintenance will be provided until 2003. This purchase is for Tinker Air Force Base Oklahoma. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. All proposals received by 4:00 p.m., CST, 8/18/00 will be considered by the government.
