This is a modification to the synopsis RFI2-37139-RRG entitled Conversion of Shuttle Orbiter Drawings to Digital Format which was posted on August 9, 2000. You are notified that the following clarifications are made: 1. Clarification is made that a decision whether to compete as full and open competition or a small business set-aside has not yet been determined. Respondents are asked to include an indication of size status using SIC 8711 and $4M average annual receipts over 3 years as the standard. 2. The capability and qualification statement is to demonstrate that the responder is 'a suitable candidate to comment on and provide answers ..." Therefore, a ROM is not required with this document, just a demonstration that the responder has the capability to provide the ROM. 3. Additional information to responders: Currently all shuttle drawings are scanned into a 2-D format into a database referenced as the Shuttle Drawing System (SDS). The due date for receipt of capability statements (August 16, 2000) and the second document (September 15, 2000) is not extended. Documents related to this procurement are available over the Internet and are in Microsoft Office Suite (Word 6.0, Excel 5.0, or PowerPoint 4.0) format and will reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
