This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation number is F31610-00-Q0413 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-16. The Standard Classification Code (SIC) is 1795 (for coding purposes only) and the small business size standard is $7.0 Million for this acquisition. The estimated dollar value of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. This action will be pursued on an unrestricted basis. This procurement consists of providing all labor, supplies, materials, supervision, transportation, equipment, and all else necessary to complete the Demolition of Buildings 3702 and 3708 project at Seymour Johnson AFB, NC. The work involved includes, but is not limited to, the demolishing of buildings 3702 and 3708, including foundations, site utilities, and pavements as indicated. Other work consists of abating asbestos containing materials (ACM) as indicated in Section 02051 of the specifications and providing topsoil finish grading, landscaping and grassing to restore sites. The following provisions apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors _ Commercial; FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation _ Commercial Items, the Government will award a purchase order resulting from this combined synopsis/solicitation to the responsible offer whose proposal, conforming to this synopsis/solicitation, will offer the best value to the Government, price, and other factors considered.
