requirement for an estimated quantity of 50,000 interment (burial)
flags for delivery no later than November 15, 2000. Product
Description: FLAGS, NATIONAL, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, INTERMENT, NSN
8345-00-656-1432 (specifies the interment flags specifications), made
in accordance with Federal Specification DDD-F-416E dated November 27,
1981, and Public Law 105-261 Section 1073. Salient characteristics are:
The interment flag of the United States shall be a 5-foot hoist by
9-foot 6-inch fly flag, made from 100% cotton, wholly produced in the
United States of America, and each flag individually boxed, then placed
six per shipping carton. Interested offerors who feel they can meet the
required dates to include first article inspection in accordance with
FAR 209-4 are requested to submit a price quote electronically to:

solicitation is issued as RFQ 101-27-00. Solicitation document and

estimated 50,000; Unit: Each Offerors are required to provide price
quotes (both unit and total price) for a minimum quantity of 5,000
interment flags and any additional quantities quoted in increments of
not less than 5,000 for delivery on or before October 30; and/or
November 15, 2000. Quotes must clearly state the quantity and date of
delivery offered. Offerors are encouraged to quote for any and all
delivery dates specified. The Government reserves the right to evaluate
all quotes received and select the quote(s) determined to be in the
best interest of the Government. Multiple awards are anticipated.
