The Marine Corps Logistics Base (MCLB), Albany, GA, intends to negotiate a sole source contract with FATS, Inc., Suwanee, GA, for the procurement of Contractor Logistical Support of all FATS training systems procured by the US Army in Europe, Deployable Operations Group (DOG) and the Balkans, including Indirect Fire Trainers, Small Arms Trainers and upgraded lane systems. This CLS will consist of program management, depot operations, spares management, and integrated logistical support services. Sole source justification is based upon only one responsible source capable of providing continued standardization and interoperability of current systems and the proprietary software without extensive reverse engineering and developmental efforts.
