The Government intends to award to Magid Associates Inc. of Marion, Iowa a contract on sole source basis for miscellaneous non-personal services in support of the total strategic plan by the Army Broadcast Service Networks to upgrade its dissemination of vital information from the United States to those Americans stationed in Europe and Korea, considering the latest communication technology (digital transmission system, satellite distribution and internet linking). The services will consist of the assessment of specific needs, the design of an effective internet program as integrated with the total communication system, the provision of training to improve quality of broadcasting and dissemination of information, and the design and implementation of feedback to determine customer satisfaction. Any firm who can provide the services is requested to respond not later than 21 August 2000.
