Horse, Purchasing Agent, 405/247-6677 ext. 241 The Bureau of Indian Affairs, Anadarko Agency, Anadarko Oklahoma, is soliciting for proposals from licensed Attorneys and Tribal Court Advocates to provide Public Defender Services for the Anadarko Agency in the Court of Indian Offenses, commonly referred to as the CFR Court. This solicitation will have a two day per week court requirement with a maximum dollar amount available of $27,500.00. Proposals will be ranked on technical qualifications, past experience and cost. This acquisition is set aside for certified 51% Indian-owened and controlled firms under the Buy Indian Act, 25 USC 47. This procurement is subject to Section 7(b) of P.L. 93-638 (25 U.S.C. 450e) and 41 CFR 14-1.354m which requires that preference opportunities in employment and training to be given to Indian/Alaskan Individuals and that preference in the award of subcontracts be given to Indian/Alaskan Native Ecomomic Enterprises. failure by the Contractor to submit a plan for doing so prior to award and implement the same after awardshall be sufficient reason for non-award or termaination of the contract for default.
