NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE The government intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Kallemeyn Contracting, under authority of FAR 6.302, a Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery, Service Contract, with provisions for Option periods, for Sediment Station and Gage Observers Contract Administration. Kallemeyn Contracting has proven to possess the knowledge, skills and ability to execute this contract as evidenced by the successful performance of very similar duties for the past 5 years. Kallemeyn Contracting has knowledge of the station locations and particular intricacies of 15 suspended sediment stations, 23 water level gaging stations and 75 grounds water wells along rivers and streams in Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa and Missouri, within the Rock Island District.
