Z -- ELK CITY COMPOUND PAVING SOL RFQ R1-17-00-24 DUE 090500 POC Contracting 208 983-1950 Ext 4174 ELK CITY COMPOUND PAVING -- The Nez Perce National Forest is soliciting bids for the machine placing of plant mix pavement on the Elk City District Office Compound on the Red River Ranger District. The project consists of subgrade preparation, hauling and placing of 3/4" base aggregate, compaction of subgrade and machine placing a 2" mat of plant mix pavement. Idaho Transportation Department Division of Highways Specifications (1999) shall apply. Plant mix pavement shall be Class III 1/2". All materials incorporated in the mix shall be from ITD Division of Highways approved sources. The plant mix design shall be an ITD Division of Highways approved mix design with AC-10 oil. Plant mix pavement shall be paid for by the ton including oil. No additional payment will be made for oil. Contract time is 30 days. Est start work is September 15, 2000. Due to extreme fire conditions, this project may be delayed until next field season. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.
