This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items or services prepared in accordance with format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as Request for Quotation (RFQ No. NIA-00-JCC023). The solicitation clause and provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-17. Delivery shall be FOB Destination. NIH/NIA Gerontology Research Center intends to purchase one (1) robotic liquid handling system. This system should include four (4) sampling probes, automatic variable spacing between sampling probes, peristaltic pump for tip washing, design to enable positioning for 384 well plates, liquid level sensing, eight (8) multi-rack tiles, one (1) washbowl/trough rack, NT operating system, software, manual, 83.7mm tips, one (1) kit to include adapters, collars, trough rack, tip starter package, and biohazardous bags, and one service manual.
