The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Aramark of Baltimore, Maryland to provide food, services and equipment for the 23rd National Information Systems Security Conference on October 16-19, 2000 at the Baltimore Convention Center. The contractor is the in-house service provider for the Baltimore Convention Center. The Center does not allow outside catering. The contractor will provide the food, service and equipment needed during the conference on October 16-19, 2000. A purchase order will be issued on/about August 24, 2000, using simplified acquisition procedures. The proposed requirement is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one lone responsible source under authority of FAR 13.106-1 (b).
