pduser, John Murray, 703-602-8000 ext 514 E-MAIL: John Murray,
murrayjm@navsea.navy.mil. The Naval Sea Systems Command has a
requirement for Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC) system-level
design agent support for Baselines 1.0 and 2.0. The primary support
will be to the on-going CEC operational evaluation. This support will
also include cost reduction initiatives, feasibility studies,
demonstrations, ECPs, COTS/NDI management, incidental hardware, and
advance demonstration support for emerging applications. The Raytheon
Company of St. Petersburg, Florida is presently performing this work
under Contract N00024-99-C-5110. This requirement will extend this
support with options for 253,640 hours in FY01 and 206,670 hours in
FY02. The Navy has initiated planning for full and open competition for
future CEC work. That effort will be synopsized separately once the
acquisition strategy has been finalized. See Numbered Note 22.*****
