CONTRACT INFORMATION: This is Amendment No. 1 to BROAD AGENCY ANNOUNCEMENT #DTRS56-00-BAA-0007, titled "Operator Fatigue Management Analytic Systems and Technologies to Forecast and Manage Fatigue and Ensure Alertness for Commercial Transportation Operators". The announcement/ solicitation was posted on June 21, 2000 (in the CBD). Operator Fatigue Management is Part 1 of the program initiative on Human Factors. The following changes apply: Receipt of proposals is extended to 10/31/00. Proposals are to be submitted to Ms. Cynthia D. The scope of the proposals submitted should reflect a slower start up period, ramping up in subsequent years to a more ambitious schedule. The Human Centered Transportation Research Initiative continues to be a high priority flagship initiative within the Department of Transportation.
