This publication serves as a notice of intent to negotiate a sole-source contract with Oregon State University (OSU) to provide all labor and material to operate and maintain NOAA's National Marine Fisheries Service's Newport Field Station in Newport, Oregon. The Contractor shall be required to provide the following services: building and equipment maintenance, scientific equipment maintenance, operation and maintenance of the seawater distribution system ensuring a constant source of clean seawater, security/safety inspections, mail distribution and provisions of library services. This is a continuation of services being performed by OSU. The period of performance will be a base year plus four (4) option years. Other interested sources may submit their qualifications, demonstrating their ability to perform the necessary services at the required location to the NOAA, WASC, Acquisition Management Division office within 30 days of the publication of this notice.
