(OPM) has a requirement for conference facilities for the OPM
Presidential Management Intern (PMI) Job Fair. This is an annual event
sponsored by OPM's PMI Program Office to facilitate the placement of
PMIs with Federal agencies. The Job Fair will be 3.0 days in duration,
beginning and ending between Monday and Friday. Preference is for the
conference to begin on Tuesday and end on Thursday with Tuesday being
a day to set-up. Preferred dates are: April 17th, 18th and 19th -- 1st
choice; and April 10th, 11th and 12th 2nd choice. The contractor should
provide an auditorium with a capacity for approximately 450 attendees
to be used on the first day and a capacity for approximately 100
attendees to be used on the second day of the Job Fair. Also, the
contractor should provide either two halls, one that will hold 100
exhibit booths with six-foot tables for the open job fair, and a
separate hall for private interviews (conveniently located to the first
hall) that will hold 75 exhibit booths with four-foot tables, or one
hall that will hold said booths with a clear demarcation between the
Job Fair and the Interview areas. Site location needs to be within 25
miles of Washington, DC. It must be within 30 miles of an airport which
serves major cities in the continental United States and provides bus,
limousine or train facilities. Restaurants and eating facilities
appropriate to meet the diverse needs of 400 to 500 people must be
within reasonable walking/driving distance of the conference facility.
This requirement has not been set-aside under SIC 7011. OPM will award
the contract for a base period of one year with four, one-year option
periods. Requests for copies of the solicitation should be received, in
writing, no later than fifteen calendar days from the date of this
