The U.S. Department of Energy's National Energy Technology Laboratory has a requirement for one "Brand Name or Equal" Solartron 1260W full electrochemistry system. The system shall consists of: 1260 impedance/gain-phase analyzer frequency range from 10 microhz to 32 mhz with 0.015ppm resolution, 0.1% 0.1deg accuracy, impedance 10m ohm to 100m ohm, conductivity down to 10 neg13th mho, polarization voltage up to plus/minus 40.95 volts, 1287 electrochemical interface, 125587S Zplot/CorrWare software for windows. One year maintenance on 1287 Electrochemical interface and 1260 frequency response analyzer is required. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items or services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposal/bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ S0000723), the provisions and clauses incorporated are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular #97-4. This solicitation is under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and is a Small Business-Small Purchase Set-Aside. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 3825. This will be a Firm-Fixed price contract.
