of Commerce (DOC), International Trade Administration (ITA), Tourism
Development, (TD), Tourism Industries proposes to negotiate on a
non-competitive basis with The Crossbrooks Organization, Alexandria, VA
to provide a econometric model for one forecast with executive summary
and associated report of international tourism arrivals. The forecast
will be for more than 30 countries, to the U. S., and to update and
maintain that model for Tourism industries. This forecast data is used
to update country-specific "Market Profiles" each year. These
"Profiles" contain arrivals projections for two to three years in the
future, as will as projected travel receipts from each country. This
data is used also to develop balance of payment forecasts, basing
changes in tourism receipts on changes in tourism arrivals to the U. S.
among other factors. This is a notice of intent and cannot be
considered a solicitation, therefore no solicitation package exist.
Award will be made using simplified acquisition procedures. Reference
