Glasscoe/614-692-7653; fax 692-4230 The Defense Supply Center Columbus (DSCC) Commodities (Electronics), currently manages 1.2 million items in 7 Federal Supply Groups (FSGs: 12, 14, 58, 59, 60, 61, 66), and 69 Federal Supply Classes (FSCs). Commodities processes over 2 million requisitions and over 60,000 awards annually in support of more than 1200 weapon systems. Currently these FSCs are grouped as follows: FSC 5965, 5960 5961, 5962, 5963, 5980, and 5998 -- active device units; FSC 5905, 5910, 5915, 5950, 5999 -- passive device units; FSC 5935, 6145, 5945, 5930 -- electrical device units, and FSC 5990, 5996, 6000s, 6625, 1200s, 1400s, 5800s, 5925, 5965, 5920, 5985 -- support units. However, the DSCC Commodities Application Group is seeking insight from industry on how these FSGs/FSCs should be grouped. Upon review of the following FSCs, recommendations, along with rationale supporting the suggested change, should be submitted to David M.
