seeking sources to provide information technology services to complete
an administrative application conversion. The application in question
is an administrative and budget application originally written in
Unify Vision user on a UNIX platform with an Oracle 8 DBMS. The
conversion required is to turn this administrative and budget
application into a Web-based application using Internet Explorer as the
interface and maintain Oracle 8 as the database platform. The skills
required to complete this conversion include NT 4.0 Operating System,
Visual Basic, Visual Interdev with Active Server Pages, Oracle 8 DBMS,
Unify Vision, knowledge of HTML and the Internet Explorer browser. The
company selected must currently employ experienced personnel with
programming skills in the software programs noted. A good working
knowledge of the Unify Vision is especially important as the software
has many native functionalities that are not commonly found in industry
standard end-userapplication software. The Web-based application must
maintain complete functionality found in the current Unify Vision
application. The company must be able to identify and replicate
functionality based on reading the Unify Vision code. Detailed
knowledge of Unify_s Vision software is viewed as a mandatory
requirement for the successful completion of this project. In addition,
the company selected must work with a prototype previously developed
for the conversion and be able to design, develop, modify, enhance and
complete the application conversion in a timely manner. Respondents
shall provide material regarding technical capabilities to perform. No
cost or pricing data is required or requested. This is an information
gathering effort only and if further procurement action is taken,
additional publication will be done as required. The Government does
not intend to pay for the information solicited. Respondents are asked
to provide information about corporate experience and or capabilities
