All work will be performed on cutter at Coast Guard Island in Alameda, CA. Work will be in accordance with the following dates; 1-12 Oct 2000, for spaces 1-14, 13-28 Nov 2000, for spaces 15-35 and 18-29 Dec 2000 for spacees 34-41. On 7 Sept 2000, a Request for Quotation (Total Small Business Set-Aside), will be issued with each space identified separately. Contractor will be required to cover existing tile, steel, and linoleum decks with a one step polymeric epoxy resin deck cover system, that conforms to MILSPEC D-24613 Type III. Deck must be isocyanate and polyurethene free. For Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises, The Department of Transportation (DOT) Minority, Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization has programs to assist minority, women-owned and disadvantaged enterprises to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at the prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
