Notice of intent to enter into a sole source purchase order under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 with Kastle Systems, Inc. for Commercial Items-Security System Services, maintenance, monitoring, equipment, hardware, materials, and personnel to insure the continued operation of the existing Kastle Security System as installed within the building perimeter and leased spaces of the International Trade Commission (ITC) Headquarters at 500 E Street SW., Washington D.C., 20436. Kastle Systems shall maintain and test Kastle Access Control System or Security Reporting System as necessary in accordance with building code(s) and USITC requirements. The vendor shall also install as required any additional security system hardware. Period of performance is from date of award through five years. Due to the proprietary nature of the Kastle Security System no other Security Systems company is available to the ITC that can satisfy the existing requirement. Oral Communications are not acceptable. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition, based on any information provided, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
