Department of Education, Office of Student Financial Aid (OSFA)
contemplates a non-competitive award to Disney Institute to provide two
additional "Best-in-Business" seminars for Student Financial Assistance
(SFA) middle managers, leaders, and operating partners. There will be
approximately 60 in attendance at the first session and 60-95 in
attendance at the second session. The two (4) day seminars will be held
in September 2000. Only Walt Disney World has established a specific
unit to provide Walt Disney World "Best-in-Business" experiences to the
public, business, and government the Disney Institute. This Institute
was created to respond to the demand for learning opportunities at
Disney first begun with Tom Peter's work, In Search of Excellence. The
Disney Institute will provide a custom designed program tailored to
the specific needs of SFA, that will help OSFA managers, leaders and
operating partners learn how the "Disney Way" can be adapted to serve
