Description The General Services Administration, Federal Supply Service (FSS) is soliciting for a Firm-Fixed price, Requirements contract for two drivers in the Metropolitan Washington, DC area. The first individual will serve as the primary motor vehicle driver for top ranking officials and will serve, onan as needed basis, as a backup motor vehicle driver for the FSS Shuttle Van. The second individual will serve as the primary motor vehicle driver of the FSS Shuttle Van. The contractor's drivers must have safe driving records; have no convictions for substance abuse; are drug and alcohol free; and, are trustworthy. The contractor must furnish adequate liability insurance to cover both drivers and vehicles being operated by the drivers at his/her own expense. This requirement has a base year and four options years. This solicitation is scheduled to issue on or about August 2, 2000 and close on August 15, 2000. It is also anticipated that oral presentations will be scheduled August 22,23,24, 2000 in Arlington, Virginia. This procurement is 100% Small Business Set-Aside.
