The following has been modified with additional information. This solicitation will continue to be updated under the solicitation number 00-Q0277, however, the actual solicitation number is formally F48608-00-R0035. This acquisition is being offered for full and open competition subject to Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code 1799. Women-owned, Small Disadvantaged, and HubZone businesses are highly encouraged to participate. The project is located at F. E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming. The work to be performed under the resulting contract consists of furnishing all material, labor, and equipment, appliances and performing all necessary travel and services required to replace the Cathodic Protection System Anode beds installed at various Missile Alert Facilities (MAFs) and Launch Facilities (LFs) in Wyoming and Nebraska. The contractor shall install new anodes and anode leads in new bore holes and connect to the existing junction box and rectifier. The contractor shall be required to demonstrate adequate impressed current cathodic protection for the underground structures associated with these sites. Performance period for resulting contract is estimated at 60 calendar days. Magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. This solicitation is a Request for Proposal utilizing Price Performance Trade-Off (PPT). When solicitation package is downloaded, it should be read completely as there are milestones that must be met to be considered responsive. The issued date will be on about 16 Aug 00 with a proposal due date of 30 calendar days after RFP issuance.
