The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), St. Inigoes, MD intends to contract for a base year and four option years with FIBCO Composites, Inc., 6833 Oran Circle, Buena Vista, CA 90621. This requirement is for AN/SPN-43C antenna reflectors and test panels. FIBCO is the original equipment manufacturer of the antenna reflectors and test panels, and the reflectors and panels are not available from any other source. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Interested parties may identify their interest and technical capability to respond to this requirement and may submit information which shall be considered by the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Contracts. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
