Lum (650) 615-7282 We intend to issue next month Solicitation No. 052684-00-A-0190 for Postal Service Item No. (PSIN) C-9901 (*01 through 10), Dedicatory Plaque, which is affixed to postal facilities for dedications. (*Dedicatory plaques carry PSINs indicating the year, e.g., C9901-01 is for calendar year 2001, C9901-02 for calendar year 2002 and so on.) The current contract for this item was awarded to Achievement Products in East Hanover, NJ in September 1995 at a unit price of $55.00 per plaque and $55.00 per casting charge. We plan to award one 10 year contract with deliveries to the Material Distribution Center in Topeka, KS. During the first three years, we guarantee to purchase 600 plaques and estimate we may purchase 2,500 plaques during the 10-year period. The successful supplier shall be required to manufacture this item in accordance with postal provided specifications and will electronically receive orders from the Inventory Control Center in Topeka, KS.
